John Hovey has created a bang up set of rules and Rich Jones has provided his expertise. Here's the updated version. Give it a go , each game takes about 15 minutes. Gooooooooooaaaaaaaaallllllllll!
I'm no great fan of soccer - particularly now my son is hogging the television watching the World Cup - but this is a cracking little game that might just lure him into 'proper' wargaming... I can also see potential for using similar systems to portray the outcomes of major events in a battle, whilst allowing players to use their discretion as to which orders to give and when. Thanks for a very stimulating game idea, gentlemen!
