8 x 10 inch with a flexible scale so you can use any figure size. Cover and duck back is now built into the rules. How you face the figure tells you if its in Duck Back. Side with the Advantage starts in cover, after first shots, everyone is in cover...kind of like in real life. No need to move the figures/counters on the table unless charging.
You can still play on the table as normal. The table is divided into 9 sections like the old way. But now instead of measuring and moving, movement is by sections. Combat is carried out in the same section as well. Plays faster yet keeps the same math as before.
If you want the old school measuring and setting up terrain download this for free. Same stuff used in all the older THW rules including ATZ.

Also, I'll be putting out a small Tabletop Convention doc for playing ATZ at conventions with the old school system of movement. I'll announce it here in a few days.
Ed, in the 'walkthrough' post various cards were used to see what/ who had been encountered. But these don't seem to be in the Evolution download. Are they a separate product, or didn't they make the final cut? Thanks.
They are part of the Better Dead Than Zed board game coming out next month. They will work with the minis game as well and will be sold separately. Waiting on samples of the card games first, then those.
Looks Great, are the battle boards scaled for 15 or 25mm figures Ed?

DeleteSo there's no actual movement anymore? I just (finally) finished the new CR rules, and there is no movement section there either.
