2 Hour Dungeon Crawl - Step by Step AAR - Feral Vampires

Here's a simple Step by Step AAR for 2 Hour Dungeon Crawl, from character set up to end. 2 Hour Dungeon Crawl is made to be used with whatever figures, tiles, paper, pens, etc. you already have.

It's an easy to learn game that is challenging yet requires very little bookkeeping. On with our story.

Hell Hath No Fury AAR - Mission 1 - Piece of Cake

Decided to start a tank campaign using Hell Hath  No Fury. Used the counters that are included in the game and broke out the All Things Zombie Board Game map. Reduced all movement by a third and off I went. The 3 tank platoon of Easy 8's took off down the road in column, my Rep 5 Star TC in the lead tank and the other two close behind. Had a good feeling about it.


Cruising along I thought I saw something in the woods to the right. Upon closer inspection nothing.

More movement, this time to the front. Nothing but sunshine. Piece of cake! We were closing in on a village and if there was going to be anyone around, this  is probably where they would be.

As my Sherman entered the village a grey object came into sight.  I was right, a  Panzer IV! 

Boom! He was quicker than I was off the mark and fired, but our speed threw him off. Miss!

Garrison fired just as the turret finished coming around. Boom!
A hit and I could see debris and flames. As smoke began to pour out of the tank I signaled to move on.

We were really lucky. 2 PEFs resolved as nothing and the last one as only 1 tank. Very long odds of that happening,  but having played many THW games and been on the opposite end, I'll take it. Checking to see if anyone could Improve Rep. 
No one qualified except me.  I didn't. Next Mission seems easy enough. We'll be in the front of an attack and my platoon needs to secure a bridge.

Calling Sam the Camera Man and Billy Pink to join her and Elliot Bay, whose guarding her, the quartet arrive in Little Hisha during the Late Day Part.. Things happen quickly.

What: Tank specific wargame/RPG rules for World War II. 

Scale: Tank on tank combat. 1 model/figure equals 1 vehicle.

Your Role: Players can command from one tank up to a company of tanks.

Playability: Designed for solo, same side and head to head play.

Hell Hath No Fury can be played in a variety of ways:

• You can play as a Tank Commander with one tank.
• You can play as a Platoon Leader with a platoon of 3 - 5 tanks. 
• You can play as a Company Commander with 2 or more platoons.
• You can play one-off battles.
• You can play a full campaign with up to ten scenarios.

The bottom line is you can play it any way you like, with any models or counters you like.

Press Release - THW working with LnL Publishing

Here are some snapshots of the mock up of the first LnL/THW release - Heroes of the Colosseum.







This is to clarify what had been hinted at. Here are the press releases.



Now here's what's going on in more detail.

LnL has contracted with THW to take all the current games, and future titles, and turn them into board games. They will have maps, counters, etc. as a board game normally would have.
They could also produce them as Print and Play games.
Computer games are also an option.
In addition, they would publish the miniatures rules as well.

This does not change what's happening now. Rules will still be available on the THW site, until they are published by LnL. When that happens they will go through the THW portion of the LnL web. LnL will produce and fulfill the orders.

As there are currently lots of games, this will take a long time. During that time I will still release games as usual.
The new owner of LnL has guaranteed that while they will publish the games they will NOT change the games in any other way. I have final say so on all games.

This will allow for higher production quality and distribution in new markets - board games and computer games.

So as a current THW customer, things will not be changing as all new games will go through THW first. Hope this makes sense.

An ATZ AAR - Brand New World

"So what happens between All Things Zombie - Final Fade Out and After the Horsemen?"

That's the most common question I get from ATZ players. Almost all of the supplements for ATZ - FFO -  Hospital 911, High Rise to Hell, Haven and Mass Hysteria cover the first 90 days of the Zombie Outbreak.

I, Zombie steps up as the only supplement for a later date. So when I hear the question I can understand. And just so you know, I listened. Like the title says...

"It's a Brand New World."
