And what happened to Muskets and Mohawks? :(
Maybe that's the surprise for next month?I am curious about Qwik, and definetly want Charioteer
The QWIK imagery has pricked up my ears.
If QWIK has anything to do with recreating the world of Mad Max, count me in!
Hmm, this smells like Jugger. I like it.Whiteface / Oliver
QWIK Models are here guys.http://weeklyonefive.blogspot.com/
Still don't understand what QWIK is. It's Mad Max but as a sport? By the way, I notice RSBS is listed as a wargame. Aren't gladiator matches considered a sport?
Once there's a chance of death I think it's less of a sport than war.
Qwik is based on the movie, Blood of Heroes. Here's a link.some links.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094764/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jugger
Muskets and Mohawks still on way.
didn't know about that movie, but can't wait to see the game!!!! Once read a science-fiction story about a future spectator sport called "street football" in which the promoters paid people in all of the apartments/houses on a given street to leave for the weekend, and a televised game of football was held in the street. Difference from modern American football was linemen had billy clubs, martial arts techniques were acceptable for blocking/tackling, and each team got one sniper with one bullet secretly placed in any building or abandoned car on the street. There was a movie years ago about an underground fencing circuit, spectators bet on the outcome of fencing matches which were with live swords. Must be a way to do modern fencing - but with live swords - as a variant of RSBS.
