Before FNG 2nd Tour there was ...

2006 - 13 years ago.
THW was just starting out and the Reaction Test was unheard of.

2012- 7 years ago.
THW game mechanics changed and FNG changed with it.

2019 - Coming soon.
Gamers change and so do we. Play it with minis or play it with counters; just play the game!
FNG Tour of Duty, updated and personal.

Coming soon, real soon...

  1. Yes, yes, yes, Ed! This is the way forward; I bought into the THW system 10 years ago and love it! I play no other rules sets, but I don't have time now to keep painting new minis, however few they may be - give me (us) counters and tiles to scratch that itch - please and get on and play this great system. Many thanks.

  2. I used to have so many periods to play ,but not enough minis; plus I am a terrible painter. I have only three periods of painted minis now. I realized it works to use counters to play a minis game when I want to play something I don't have minis for.

  3. Awesomeness! When can we get a rundown on what’s covered (vehicles, air assaults, riverine)? Also, will UW be getting an update?

    Thanks,
    Brian

  4. UW getting updated is a great idea. I'll check into it. I wanted to concentrate on infantry actions in Tour of Duty as lots of the other things like vehicles, riverine, etc. are rarely gamed. So to keep costs in line that will be stuff that will be offered in a inexpensive add on. All about buying what you need. Hope this makes sense.

  5. UW definitely needs to be updated for this as it's such a great supplement.

    3. Still up in the air. Maybe a month or two, waiting on other people to contribute some text for it.

  8. Is it going to be different than 2nd tour or is it just getting a hard cover?

    1. Updated rules to match the current mechanics. After 7 years it needed an update.
