Coming soon!

Good question; let me shine some light on it.

Vastly different. It's made specifically for Dungeon Crawling whereas the others are detailed games that dungeoneering is only an option. It's a streamlined game that will be great at getting non-gamers into it. It can also work with above ground adventuring. It's an option for players to use all their dungeon stuff without costing an arm and a leg.

It’s easier to get into than WHL/WHAA and to play. It’s great for an evening with the family or spouse. Simple enough to get the inexperienced gamer into it, yet challenging enough for the experienced gamer. Is it a replacement?

No, it's another option.

And, it's compatible enough that you can go from one to the other depending upon your mood.

  3. Third time is the charm? Can my wife play character like a "Gnome" (the pointy red hat guys) in this game?

    1. Not quite, it's a totally different game. Can be a Caster Gnome, Healer Gnome, Knight Gnome, Thief Gnome, and four more options.

  4. Interesting.
Will this be a on the scale of one figure/character per player or can it do larger battles... such as an army sending organized troops into a large warren of caverns/tunnels/ruins to rout out rebels/cultists/miscreants/undead... say one ten-man squad per player?

    1. It is one on one, but you could play ten man units. It would take a bit longer, but is able to handle it without changing anything. The system for generating the number of enemy you run into will work as written.

  6. Awesome.

You mentioned a while back you wanted to make a version where you could navigate on graph paper and battle it out on bigger tiles.

    Is this is the game?

    1. Correct. There will be an INEXPENSIVE resin dungeon tile set available but 2HDC is totally graph paper friendly. I should probably post a demo.
